Day 119 – 8/19/13 – 0 mi (2163.8)

LoveNote and Burly Whites got to town mid morning and then we all got busy relaxing. We took a trip downtown (3 blocks away) to check out the thrift store. It was amazing. LoveNote got this awesome junior’s romper for 75 cents. I splurged on a town day outfit myself, shorts and a tank top totaling $1.00.

Our cabin doesn’t have a ton of kitchen equipment, but, of all things, it does have a crock pot. We talked about making a roast in a crock pot back in Colorado, but never had the opportunity, so of course we had to take advantage now. Our hiker friend Bo joined us and we all had a great dinner picnic with bbq pulled pork sandwiches, broccoli, cornbread, cantaloupe and a jello no bake cheesecake!
