Day 93 – 7/24/13 – 9.3 mi (1637.1)

It took a long time for everyone to get all their errands done in town, so it wasn’t until mid afternoon that we hitched out. Ninja and Sweetfish, then Rockin, Silly Chili and me, then LoveNote and Stryder all got back to the trailhead, where we sat around procrastinating until 5pm. We took a different trail back toward the CDT than we came down and are camping at Seneca Lake, just a mile or so before the trail rejoins the CDT.

I had freeze dried broccoli with my dinner tonight, which I bought a #10 can of at the grocery store in town. Perks of being in Mormon territory! Speaking of food, I am now eating all the foods I swore at the end of the PCT I would never touch again: Clif bars, Pop Tarts, tortillas, and yes, even instant mashed potatoes.
