Day 62 – 6/23/13 – 12.4 mi (1061.0)

After a 2500′ climb, it was easy sailing into Breckenridge. As we approached the trailhead, Stryder pointed out the stand of trees that was his home-base campsite this past winter.

Stryder, LoveNote, Silly Chili, Rockin’ and I caught the free bus from the trailhead into town and had a big greasy lunch at Fatty’s. We walked around downtown doing some shopping and some beer drinking for the afternoon, joined by Bloodbath and Rampage who were already in town.

We are staying at Stryder’s buddy’s condo, a fascinating look into Coloradoan bachelordom. Ninja and Sweetfish zeroed today to take in zombie movies in Frisco. They’ll have to hike tomorrow to get caught up while the rest of us zero.

I have no idea. I think this section is going to get changed to the Stryder rib count section, as he is getting thin enough we can see all his ribs. We’re trying to fatten him up while we’re in town.
