Resupply

Back on the PCT, we did all our resupply from trail. We mostly bought as we went, with a few boxes mailed ahead from a previous town when necessary. This time around, we plan to do a combination of on-trail resupply when full grocery stores are available and maildrops from home when they’re not. Our main reason for this option is to avoid eating so much crap from gas stations. While I’m sure our Snickers intake will remain high, we hope to make the staples of our diet more wholesome and less processed.

The following is a list of our planned mail drops and ETAs where it would be convenient for us to receive other packages. If you are so inclined, we welcome notes of encouragement and homemade cookies.

[Ninja:] And if those homemade cookies contain crisco (or any other kind of trans fat), don’t tell me–let me savor them in ignorant bliss! (*cough cough* Here’s lookin’ at you, Mom…)

Please note that our schedule is very much subject to change! We will update the ETAs as we progress, but in general, it is best to ship early, and assume “2-3 day delivery” actually means at least a week to get from you to Podunkville, USA.
